busybusybusybusybusybusybusy

It’s been a busy week.

Friday
Took the day to see the Old City as Emily said. Saw a wedding at the Frauenkirche church. Went inside the Kruezkirche church and looked around. Went to the nymph garden and took funny pictures. Got caught in the storm. Froze. Ate bratwurst with spicy mustard and warmed up.

Saturday
Came to the church building to check email. Went to get Gelato, which is like Italian ice, only better. Chatted with the Gelato Guy and told him about the LST program. I thought his name was Freutmich, but turns out “Es freut mich” means “Pleased to meet you.” Hung out with the missionaries. Went to the rockin’ concert and got a cool hand stamp. Came home and crashed.

Sunday
Came to bible class and church. Note to self: don’t stay up until midnight the night before a foreign language church service. Had Dӧner for lunch (lamb mystery meet). Met with our first readers!!!

Monday
Met with more readers. Guarded the church building waiting for more sign ups.

Tuesday
Readers. Got a new sign up! Went grocery shopping for the party. Got caught in another rainstorm.
Wednesday
Readers! Party Prep! Party! Home!

Thursday
Morning readers. Trip to Zwinger Museum. Saw lots of portraits of squishy naked babies. Oh, and the Sistine Madonna. With the two little cherubs at the bottom. More rain. More readers. German bible study. Home!
